An LTD for $1700.00 INSANITY. It amazes me how these companies can rip customers off and not bat a eye. I had an LTD Kamikaze. Was $600.00 brand new. How is this double the price + $500.00? Seriously?

Supposedly, 30% from the cost is donated to some native american charity or something... I haven't seen anything on any website about this. $1,699 is indeed ridiculous... cheap Korean Floyd Rose 1500. Not too many years ago you could get a Japanese ESP for less than that. Pure corporate greed.

@@metalgaming420 The "SE" is just some stainless steel string/bridge/nut screws, big deal... that shit is all snake oil anyway. The LTD GL-200MT Tiger is "only" $699 by comparison... so you can't tell me they can't sell this Desert Eagle for under a grand.

@@metalgaming420 Still doesn't justify the Desert Eagle being a full $1k more than the GL-200MT Tiger... and the Korean Floyd Rose units are junk; the "1500SE" is only upgraded with steel saddles and stainless screws. That Desert Eagle should be $899 all day.

not rip off, not greed. if they owned all the food in the world that would be evil, but we are talking about a luxury item. ltd can't force anyone to buy these, vote with your $, i would never pay with crazy amount for a decent guitar. even if there is some amount donated, it's not like ltd is generous, they are overcharging by so much that it'e like the guitar should cost maybe $1000 and then the consumer is giving $700 to charity. also if you notice esp/ltd is the only maker that uses the sister company and parent company name together. they are trying to blur the lines so that it "seems" more like esp. called marketing, just like "gibson inspired" wtf?
