Hello from the UK ! Thats a lovley guitar, i have a couple of LTD's myself, im very impressed with the quality & playability of both, probably my favourite guitar manufacturer at the moment, everytime i see the 87 Mirage i instantly think of Bruce Kulick, great playing mate, keep these videos coming, im an 80s metal kid so your content is right up my street, only just found your channel, subscribed ! Hey man, do you have your action super low for this guitar? If you’ve got measurements that would be great

I don’t measure but I do have a tool for it that I haven’t used until now 😂 it’s 2mm at the 12th fret..don’t even know if that’s super low ..I usually just fret the high E string at the 12th fret and if the B string sits 1/4 of the way up my fretting finger, I’m good to go! What I call ‘Bush’ set up 😂 Thanks for watching 👍

@@seansenhennguitars wow that’s high to me haha, I’m impressed you can play that quick with that action. I suppose it’s a very flat radius which always feels faster, I believe mine is 1.5mm bass and 1.25mm treble, thanks for the info bro!

Have you seen new ltd horizon custom 87. Looks incredible, but absence of inlays is a con.

@cappuccino4366 Yes it does! It’s a shame as I think it is what set it apart but that’s what this generation of guitarists tend to like 👍

Wish they had the newer ones in this turquoise or a seafoam green color, or wish they had this model with a reversed headstock

how does the neck compare to the charvel san dimas and jackson necks?

Definitely closer to a Soloist than a san Dimas mate. It is thinner than I expected which is great for my playing!
