Throw away the Raspberry Pi and just use the ESPs! I remember my first 8266, i boought it as a wifi module for the arduino. I took a bit of time to understand that the atmega328 is a joke in comparison to the 8266. And Today i build all my projects with ESPs, the new eps32s3 ist for me the perfect chip. Can't wait for the TRM to get to the V1.0 state and then use the full power of the display Interface! And its also nice that Espressif give me as a hobbyist the full ESP-IDF, the full documents and samples to use this chips and the possibility to buy samples from them over Aliexpress without being a student or working for a big company. Dont hesität to use the ESP-IDF directly to create projects!

Is there an official C platform independent parser library? Just like LwESP, but also with bluetooth functionality, and also, LwESP does has some issues, like connections when the esp is the AP.

It feels a bit like. Did you kbow you could use a macbook to connect your windows PC to the internet. You already have your ESP, why not use it for everything in your project.

Uhm… so all future users just need to store the Wifi credentials on the espressif server, so any device can be connected? I wish you elaborated more on this security concept. Sounds like a blocker for gdpr compliance.

On the contrary, according to the design of users' very own applications, the data may be transferred to the server, saved in the flash, or cleared once the device is shut down. @@EspressifSystems what I am trying to do is gather the information from esp8266 to a central hub( esp 32) and that same hub will be pushing data to cloud ☁️, but I am not able to establish gateway. So my doubt is can same esp module use esp now and wifi simultaneously
