Where did you find the relay board? I am looking to do the same thing but having trouble finding a board that can trigger with 3-5vdc 24vac do you happen to have an amazon link or something?

Great to see this project progressing. Not sure why you'd want to use a special magic value like 99 when -1 would be perhaps more appropriate - i.e. a value that just CAN'T be an index. In future it might help to turn off the ceiling fan. It creates a quite distracting stroboscopic effect in the video.

Good point, I could have used -1 to do that as well, sometimes i come up with a solution of the moment and run past it. As for the fans, well , here fans run all the time.

8 relays would be nice for the average rainbird valves inside the big valve boxes :-)

Yeah, 30 was just for development, In the next round of code I actually reduced it to 12, thou it only costs a few bytes of memory for each.
