I want to ask, why when tested the voltage read on the sensor is the maximum voltage?. I tested the sensor with a 5V voltage source, why does the sensor read 100V?.

if we don't know what is the maximum, then the board will burn if you connect higher voltage. So have to know the max voltage to put proper resistor.

I forgot to say that the source of the 5 volt is an UPS of 25 volts already reduced with a voltage divider.

@@robojax I know it and the relative values of resistances are correct. I’m only asking about the absolute values of the resistance. Is 1000 ohms to low to use as R1 or it could be ok?

if you can convert AC to DC with some circuit, yes it should work.
