It's funny you say this but none of them look like their counterpart. WWE needs a new engine to work with. This old one is too far gone. I'm 37 and I have been playing WWE games since No Mercy. I have 2k 17,18,19,20,23,24. I'm not buying another. I'll wait for the next big change in wrestling games.

Agreed👍I’m 18 and started with smackdown vs raw 2008. I got 2k 14,15,16,17,18,23,24 and I loved them to begin with but as you said this engine is just not it. I mean you know it’s bad when call of duty literally has Cody Rhodes in it and he looks way better in that than he does in the actual wrestling game. I only ever get these games on a massive discount but the new one is on ps+ thankfully. Personally I’m just hoping AEW make a solid competitor as I love AEW and that would probably push 2k to make something better than what we have now

It's interesting because mods are certainly better. I unfortunately couldn't dive that deep into them and it was pretty early on but the community converting/editing the models from prior WWE2K games and sticking them makes them look a whole lot better than CAWs. At least in terms of previous WWE game rosters at least.
