The song was released in 2012 so after the Arab Spring uprisings, and the lyrics are more of a tribute to the revolutions in the Middle East. One way to translate it (and I'm not an expert in this specific dialect so it's gonna sound basic) it seems like she's talking to an old rebellious spirit that came back and made people revolt she could be referencing liberation revolutions against colonizers (in so comparing tyrants to colonizers) it goes something like: Liberation revolutions are an old claim [This old spirit of liberation revolutions] has a new claim, a new leader, opened the door for the youth to revolt, the friends in Tunis rose and got their rights (women's rights as well?). Our leader (the spirit), supported the people of Egypt, look at the destruction they brought on injustice. In Yemen and the Levant, they taught us to go on strike in tents, patience, and determination, [they taught us] patience, solidarity, unity, and organization. Started a living revolution [the spirit/people]in the "Jamahereyyia" (probably she means Libya) it ignited a hell in me, the struggle for freedom and great determination.

It is about the fight for freedom for Sharawi republic ( western part of sahara) there was a freedom struggle there for the independence of the Sharawi republic from morroco it was during the fight for independence she lost her father and 2 brothers , she is also criticizing the Arab countries for not doing anything and letting people die on the behest of the French government and big western co operates..

It's about the Arab Spring: The Arab Spring was ignited by the spark that began in Gdeim Izik (sahrawi protests against moroccan occupation). And the youth started the revolution in Tunisia. And other oppressed overcame their fears And the Egyptians fought against tyranny. And the idea of freedom pervaded Yemen and Damascus. And tents were pitched in many places in the way of Gdeim Izik. And the same way the Libyans decided to organise themselves To satisfy the craving for freedom.
