805zacatecas Yes, most Friesians are black, and they must be genetically black to be registered as Friesians. Remember, it's not always easy to keep a black horse jet black. They fade in the sun, especially if they spend a lot of time outdoors and prefer not to stand the shade. For this reason, some black show horses are kept inside all day and are only turned out at night. The horses in this video are genetically black, but have faded. When they shed their summer coats and grow their winter coats, they will regain the jet black color you expect of Friesians.

Thats not even close to a friesian..... a full grown mother friesian is around the same height or even bigger than that guy, and they are black and have a more royal shaped head amd they walk very proud this one not

They can bleach up by the sun if they are wet, as you can see here. When you let them wet in the sun they can change color. These are imo not high range Friesians as in the Netherlands.I'm dutch ;-)

Their coats don't "bleach up" that much. It's mostly the tips of their mane & forelocks that tinge with ginger streaks from the summer sun. That foal still looking like a mix.

A "foal" is far too young to leave the mother, like this one.therefore NO foal should be sold till they're a weanling of 18 months. & 2, I agree with one of the commenters, that foal looks like a mix. I can see some Buckskin ticked in there.,🤨
