Since the start of Esperanza’s career, I’ve been crushed by the immense beauty of her voice and harmonic landscapes I never knew could exist. It literally makes me cry, and I’m not a crier. Her talent is unimaginable. This music is in its own category.

I can't help to think about a huge Kate Bush influence in her Music....only Esperanza is I think gifted as only a select other group of musicians in the last quarter century....I once owned a Restaurant in the east of France, in the city of Mulhouse, where she played in 2013 with Lovano, Dejohnette and Leo Genovese [An Argentinian like me] as the Spring Quartet, so I jumped at the chance of contacting Leo to see if they would like to come over to have dinner a day prior to the concert....they came....and I went to pick 'em at the hotel in downtown....while I was in the lobby with all this monsters and their road manager minus her, suddenly she came down from her room gracing with her presence while descending through the stairs like and angel only could.....I swear to God that I fell in love instantly with her aura....a true star in the most soulful sense of the term....magnificent woman and musician....
