I have a Schecter 8 string (with 10 - 74 strings) which I use in Drop E (8th). I'm considering buying this NT-7, but I wonder if the Evertune system can help the (short) scale to keep the tension of the lowest strings. I want to keep my Drop E tuning (minus the high E) but I can't find any decent explanation. I could go with a baritone NT-7, but I really like the design of this one. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
