it was a good fight, but I liked the choreography but it made it even clearer to me how Espio has limited resources, he is barely explored in the franchise and because he is a ninja they could do a lot of cool things with him, not necessarily transforming him into a Naruto from Sonic's world but they could give him more skills such as more weapons to use in addition to shurikens and kunais and also ninja arts that he could use in conjunction with his ninjutsu, ranging from basic techniques to even unique things with the face of the franchise

Yes, Espio won, amazing battles, unlike others who prefer to focus on fan made characters (cough, cough, sellkadoom is too overhyped, cough, cough), you give credit and improve characters (like Espio, Jet, Blaze, Tails and Knuckles) to make them look like a thread and to appreciate them, amazing battle animation
