Rome kept calling him that - before he went on his show - to say he was girly and couldn't take a hit. So when he went on his show, he didn't expect him to continue to refer to him in such an insulting manner. But he did.

I remember seeing the whole interview - Jeremy Schapp (an excellant reporter) tried to get Knight - who agreed to the interview - to give him a straight answer about his controversial behavior, but Knight - who had been a good friend of Dick Schapp (Jeremy's award winning father) went for schoolyard name calling - with a 'you'll never be as good as yer father' type remark. Knight does look like he wants to puch Schapp - which, boys and girls, is why he was fired from Indiana.
