Indiana playing one of the top two teams in the nation, and playing in arguably the most hostile away venue in the country...and they hung with them through most of the first half. Then special teams flubs put the game out of reach, and it's easy to see how their gameplan fell apart. Doesn't mean that they are a bad team...they just played an elite team on the road and got beaten. They are still quite a good team, and they belong in the playoffs.

I can’t wait for the day when college football operates with conferences like the NFL where rankings which are subjective opinionated bullshit doesn’t matter. It’s the only sport where the best teams are decided by opinion instead of purely based off records and inner conference records. If Wisconsin had indianas resume this year and had it’s only loss to the #2 team in the country it wouldn’t even be a discussion as to wether or not Wisconsin would or should be in the playoffs.
