As a 78 y/o -------& an NFL follower since 1957, 11 y/o-------I've seen so many QB's ! -------- As a Broncos Fan from the very beginning, 1961, I've suffered through & cheered through a lifetime of QB play. So, i KNOW, what I am seeing. And Bo is making throws that are just not common at all, for ANY 1st yr QB not named Dan Marino. I care not who it is , even Andrew Luck--------John Elway-------Joe Burrow-------Michael Vick-------Joe Montana--------CJ Stroud, to name just a few-----------what Bo is doing with Sean Payton's offense, is exceptional. And I am seeing a big time arm, mobility, & accuracy we who are part of " Broncos Country " haven't seen since that insane 2013 offense with Peyton Manning, et al. And even then, # 18 had virtually zero mobility, & 2/3 of the arm Bo is showing. MY eyes don't deceive me ; I know what I am seeing. That throw against Atlanta over the middle to Vele for 34 yds---------was one only a handful of QB's who have EVER played in the NFL, could ever-------would ever-------even attempt, much less, complete with such apparent ease. On that alone, I rest my case.-------MJL, 78 y/o

This take is gold. Shoutout to an original fan (fan since 96 but I inherited it from family who had tix since 61 despite living on the other side of the world). Your experience says it all. You can just compare Nix to the other rookies this year and he looks completely different.

Dude I cringe when he makes throws like that but his accuracy and reading the defense is just bonkers. He's that good no he is the real deal

We had a Dink and dunk Qb with Teddy Bridgewater and it was so infuriating watching him play here in Denver. At the start of the year Bo was a dink and dunk qb that that's understandable when you're a rookie qb, so seeing him grow as the season progresses is so encouraging for the coming seasons

Nick Wright is the most bias hater I’ve ever seen on television. Broncos could win the Super Bowl and he would find something to bitch about.
@jonathanmonterosa69563 күн бұрын
Nick just doesn't like anything good happening to that division. I think Nick wants the division to be like the New England Partiots. The Jets, Bills, and Dolphins were all trash for over a decade, and the Patriots were guaranteed a playoff spot for them to cruise to a bunch of titles. In Nick's perfect world, the Raiders continue to Raider, the Broncos are still searching for their franchise quarterback, and the Chargers continue to get unlucky in close games or disappointing down the stretch of a season.
@jamespark31343 күн бұрын
@@jonathanmonterosa6956 agree but it look like the Broncos and Chargers will be way more competitive next year and who knows maybe the Raiders might draft their franchise QB next season

100% true. The Broncos ruined his childhood 😆 and the Broncos being down for a few years have given him a little payback. He's deathly afraid of Bo Nix and Sean Payton ruining his middle age now as well 😂😂😂

Lifetime broncos fan and I was at the raiders game in Vegas and Bo can spin it…. I wanted to see the misconception of arm strength and I didn’t see it. I don’t claim to be an expert but he throws very well and he’s bigger than I thought he would be in real life.

It's very simple where the "misconception" is created. There's people out there who just want Bo to fail. If he fails, so do the Broncos. And if they fail, those people get to say " I told you so" and they are going to hold on to that as long as they can, regardless of how Bo has been playing. They need Bo to be bad for their own enjoyment. And that's ok, those people are needed to propel the Bo's of the world into Excellence.

Y’all remember when Nick wright said Nikola Jokic was “the worst mvp of all time” compared to other mvps.? I swear he had something happen to him in Denver where everything from CO/Denver is bad or perhaps he is such a KC homer that he is blindly loyal. Bo Nix is getting better each week, and in OROY conversation as a front runner. If he were “tricking” people we would see him getting worse as more film was out on him. Love the commentary man! Keep it coming!

All of this is good for Bo and the Denver Broncos overall. But I know the media loves you until they don't. They're waiting for the other shoe to drop and are looking for Denver to fail. I'm hoping they keep the momentum going week to week. Keep everything in check week to week and that starts with handling Cleveland on the national stage. I pray they're NOT reading their own press and zero in week to week. If they're doing that Denver is going to make the playoffs and make some noise doing it.

That first play Dan shows the DAGGER concept is very very common concept in the NFL and it’s a play that has the QB read one defender and it’s right in front of the QB. Love Bo Nix and was high on him before the season and still am but, this is a bad example to say “this is a big time throw”. Where did this even dink and dunk narrative come from? If anything you could say that about Kliff and JD in Washington
@JWLSportsКүн бұрын
Dink and dunk came from people saying Bo Nix has a weak arm and that he threw a ton of passes behind the line of scrimmage in college. Combine that with people not really watching a lot of Broncos games and there you have it, made up narratives based off of pre NFL opinions.

Also, success isn’t linear. It goes up and down. So if he has a couple of bad games to end the season and starts slow it doesn’t mean he is bad. If he has 3-4 years and we are talking about him even being a viable starter QB than Nick would be correct.
@JWLSportsКүн бұрын
Wait, Nick would be correct about what? Haha t's wild how many people try to pretend like success in the NFL is linear. It's really absurd. A player has 2 bad games and everyone is ready to bury them. Like Jayden Daniels. Today he looked great because Kliff called a great game and there were actual receivers open. JD got to play within the system rather than BE the system. But two games ago people were saying how he's done and was fools gold. I'm curious of your thoughts about the Texans? What do you think is going on with their offense? Bobby Slowick? It just seems so disconnected. Even when playing bad defenses.
@travisosheaКүн бұрын
@ if Bo Nix in 3 years time was struggling to be a starter than Nicks “prediction” would be right. As of right now and even moving forward Nick is far from anything right about Nix
@travisosheaКүн бұрын
@ your point to JD and Kliff, people also have to think about how that defence is playing them and what the DC is calling. The looks and the coverages and the flow of the game. These are all very week to week and even year to year. So yes people saying JD sucks is just abused but, to say that there are some things to look out for and give legitimate reasons why, is something many fans just do not know nor do they think about.
@travisosheaКүн бұрын
