I've heard several people discuss the OU defense wasn't able to show out because they were on the field for so much longer. Look at the stats, OU had over half the time of possession. You could say OU's defense was demoralized, but not winded because of time spent on the field.

@@Danny-ti7yy the OU time advantage came from the first Q when Texas opened up with three 3 play drives. 2nd through 4th quarter Texas had the time advantage and that’s when we really dominated, especially after short OU drives in the 2nd Q

Desmond is a great interview. It's nice to see some of his true opinions on CFB when he's not in GameDay mode. It's nice to see an EPSN employee agree that playoff expansion was too much at once. Feels like a take you wouldn't hear on GameDay.
