Really exciting to hear about networks finally seeing the beauty of the sport of volleyball

If Pitt and Nebraska match up I'll be interested to see if John Cook might have Dan Fisher's number. Writers and commentators do not mention that NE beat Pitt 3-1 in 2021 and 3-0 last year. I may be overthinking this but I like the Husker's chances.

as someone who has been trying to watch blurred out youtube for 10+ years, I love the increased coverage! however, a population you didn't consider in the interview that benefits from things like "the fifth set" is us canadian fans (and trust me there are lots of us) as we still don't have access to espn+ since we are viewers outside of the US... therefore without tv coverage we have zero ability to watch at all -- just something to consider and bring forward when having these conversations!! love the show!

Nebraska did what thought they would do as have a great draw like last year. People kept talking about Miami as a tough draw but if you have watched Miami and Nebraska a lot knew they would dispatch of Hurricanes with no issues. They will sweep Dayton easily and then beat Wisconsin either in another sweep or maybe 4 sets at worse.

People are not machines. Nothing is a given.

@@cornymonkey True, but this team is driven and at home, and with Cook seeing the light and playing Landfair all the time they have what is needed to get to the final again. They are just so superior to Dayton. Wisconsin's big advantage last year over Nebraska was their great front line running a 6-2. Now that has been diminished playing a 5-1, (as well as losing Thomas-Ailara) the setting not as good this year for Wisconsin, and when the Freshman setter is front row then Nebraska can go on runs. I think Fuerbringer is really good for a freshman but not at the level of Riley, Starck and other top setters. Wisconsin back row is still big weakness like last year and is even more so when the setter is front row. Nebraska dominated Wisconsin in two matches, and while I have no doubt Franklin and Smrek will bring it as seniors and it will be a closer match than first two, just think gap too wide with setting and back row play to see Nebraska losing 3 sets at home.

@@spencerdouglas1538 I agree they are consistently performing well. I think back to that Purdue match at home though and it was very close. if we don’t perform to standard we could lose if someone comes to play.

Missouri's setter is a 2x national champ. She'll be dangerous.
