ESPN sure liked to pat itself on the back. At the time, it was cute. But ESPN celebrated everything. 10th anniversary, 15th anniversary, 16th anniversary, 1000th SC, 5000th SC, 5013th SC, 5644th SC, 10th year of NFL Prime, 15th year of NFL Prime, 15th year and 2nd month of NFL Prime, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. So many anniversary cakes to the point of ad nauseam.
