When you hear LT say that he was a man playing with boys, instantly you should recall Butkus talking about how it was easy for him on the field. He was the first pass rushing LB and we’ve only seen flashes of anyone like him since. Steeler fans like to say that he was just a pass rusher but they clearly haven’t watched his game film. Not to say he was Jack Ham but he played the run as well as anyone and could play in pass coverage at a high level. He also played special teams early on.

Jaws is correct. Watch the game film. He never took cheap shots. Most of his hits are clean today. There are some exceptions in the passing game to the RB when he a few fine led with his helmet but there’s no reason he wouldn’t be great today.

Keep Tom Brady and throw him in the lake!! Joe Montana and Johnny U are the quarterbacks for the ages. Signal callers in their era took more cheap shots in a quarter than Brady took in his entire career!! Johnny U had a presence and charisma, unlike any other.
