Highly unlikely. For my entire life I have never seen us do a rebuild even once. The Steelers are just not like other teams in that way. Maybe because that's how the Rooney's have always done business. I would be shocked if I ever witness one before I die.

How are you people still blind to Tomlin's hype? How many more playoff failures does his team need to have for him to be on the hot seat? And don't tell me he hasn't had talent. The man had the most stacked roster in football in the mid 2010s and couldn't win. Just insanity at this point

The Steelers change argument should be solely put on the offensive schematics. "Confusing motion for change" was said perfectly. They've been aggressive in getting fields and Wilson, theyve been aggressive in getting oline personnel, they've been constantly trying to get better WRs. They even switched up play calling signals in Big Bens last year. The only thing not changing is a lack of aggressive play calling and utilizing personnel properly. Conservatism on offense is what is killing us... Tomlin won't get fired even if he goes for every 4th down and ends a season 3-14 so he may as well wake up, get aggressive and see what happens. Worse case scenario they get a shot at a qb, best case they actually win one of these games...

All these lame excuses for Tomlin trying to blame players and management and ownership. Anyone who actually follows the steelers can tell that Tomlin has almost absolute control of this organization. He plays a key role in the signing and drafting of every player and coach hire. So, if the players, coaches, or development of players and schemes are sup-par. That's on Tomlin! Who is directly responsible for it. The steelers aren't run like the cowboys or some of these other organizations were the owner is calling all the shots and breathing down the neck of the head coach. Tomlin has the keys to the organization and has free reign to do what he wants within reason. He has too much control over the team. It's obvious he has his fingers all over the defensive and offensive schemes, and he doesn't choose good coordinators, so he can have as much control of the team as possible. He could have had Brian Flores and kilff Kingsbury as his coordinators, but he chose two yes men who agree 100٪ with his philosophy instead. He needs to leave pittsburgh or choose good assistant coaches and let them handle their own play calling and schemes and stop trying to run everything like an ultimate micro-manager.@Bigmike24

He also ruined a #1 pick at qb. Nobody had underperformed more per draft position and talent than trevor lawrence. Don't forget that. Tomlin would kill for qbs pederson has had. Carson wentz when he was good, nick foles or trevor lawrence. Compare that to old big ben, mason rudolph, mitchell trubiskey, kenny picket, justin fields, & old russell wilson. Its a qb league.

If those guys are good enough for to win 9-10 games consistently and make the playoffs every other year then they're also good enough team to win playoff games. Tomlin just doesn't bc when coaching matters the most he doesn't show up. The likes of Tim Tebow and Blake Bortles have playoff wins over Tomlin and I'm supposed to believe he's so great yet he can't do what those guys did it to him. In addition to extending just to immediately fire NOT being a part of the Steelers do business, firing him means replacing him with an equal or better option that is currently available for hire? Who might that mystical person be? The vast majority of would be candidates are available for good reason & with promotion from within proving just as unlikely, best stay the course & focus our energies on signing FA's & finding more competent coordinators who can better utilize & scheme. Except for the QB (an issue common throughout the league) the Steelers have the pieces but lack the whole. Finding the QB has to be the very first priority of this team as ALL other things are immaterial!

Steelers fan, always have been. I really like Tomlin as a coach, but anyone who knows anything about leadership knows that stagnation is a thing. Sometimes you have to make a change, not because of any one specific problem, but just because you have to get out of a rut. Tomlin--and others--have to go. But they won't, and will win about half of our regular season games, and if we're lucky will get to lose a playoff game.... forever.

It may be time to fully tear it down and start finding THE GUY at QB. Or you give tomlin full leeway to make trades and the moves needed to start fresh

I think Tomlin would really do well in Chicago, but unfortunately for Steelers and bears fans, he has an ego and pride that was respectable 5-6 years ago but now is the reason why that team and his legacy are stuck in purgatory. I think every average nfl fan base would agree that as long as you’re not one of the teams that has never played in or won a Super Bowl, it’s perfectly fine to go through 5-10 year cycles where every few seasons or so you have a terrible year that allows you to have high draft picks and those draft picks along with free agents lead to successful teams that end up playing in a conference championship every 3-4 years & hopefully at least 1 Super Bowl appearance within an 8-10 year window and as long as Mike tomlin is the Steelers coach, they will never compete for conference championships nor will they have high draft picks ro address teams needs either in the draft or trades for established great players, especially quarterbacks Which is why they got Russell Wilson who is serviceable but not with their terrible offensive line, and Justin fields isn’t Lamar Jackson And George Pickens is worse than Antonio Brown because AB didn’t start being a terrible distraction or player that started drama at the beginning of his career, he was on Madden and I remember him doing Kamehameha’s as td celebrations and never saw him quit on routes like Pickens does, he was a diva WR but he earned the right to be a diva WR for the most part UNTIL the whole raiders saga started and the rest is history Pickens not having discipline reflects really bad on Tomlin which concerns me Right now I don’t care how many insane catches he makes in a game, from what I can see Pickens doesn’t care about doing even the tiniest unselfish things that teams need their diva WRs ro do at least a handful of times a game so that the gameplan works and the defense is kept honest so that the WR can eventually get his number called again. Pickens doesn’t care about winning Pickens is on the edge of being one of the biggest wastes of talent in nfl history Every time he shows he doesn’t care about helping the team win costs him millions of dollars off his next contract because while teams will definitely pay to,have him on the team, he will never get a long term deal, he will only get "prove it" contracts with less guaranteed money until he changes, but from what I see, he is dumb and as stubborn as a pile of rocks

Mike Tomlin and the entire Steelers org need to catch up with the times. You need offense to win in a league that consistently slants the field in the offense's direction. This highest paid defense got slaughtered and blew several games throughout the year. Offense can't catch up because it's underfunded. This is not a recipe for success. 13:00 proves it, aside from a couple of stinkers there, it's mostly us getting beat by great QBs that we can't keep up with even with a good defense.
