As a LAL fan, seeing the two best players be from the team brings both optimism but also frustration. It’s confirmation what the REAL fans already know, not y’all ’primetime, 1st take highlights only’ observers. Coach Ham was indeed trash and our center depth has been abysmal. If we had any depth at the C position or a better coach we beat DEN at least once the past two season and have 1 more chip.

Very similar to Embiid situation in PHI- imagine not having back up legit Centers for AD & Embiid, two of the more injury prone players who need to be healthy to have any post season success. They can't shut Lebron down, especially in the post. The only reason Lebron can't dominate on the Lakers like this anymore is because he's always gassed by the 3rd and 4th quarter. He plays far too many minutes in the NBA for his age, but in the Olympics, there are only 40 minutes. Plus, he has an all-star squad to help carry the load.

There should be a 2nd/3rd OPTION and not only rely on LEBRON. A healthy KD can be a 1st OPTION if you need to hit a 3 POINTER or need a GAME WINNING SHOT. KD is TEAM USA's TOP GUNNER (BEST PERIMETER SCORER 🎯) in his previous stints in 2012/2016/2020. TEAM USA can do a better job on defending their OPPONENTS PERIMETER SHOOTING. SOUTH SUDAN and GERMANY killed them with their 3pt SHOOTING.
