Saw the swedish sneak-premiere of "Arthur the King" in Stockholm yesterday... Cried so much of happiness, that Arthur could live together with Mikael in Sweden until he passed in 2020. 🙏🐕🐾❤️❤️❤️

The movie was great. I just got the book today and started reading it. Awesome story. There's something so special about a dog. This one truly was a very, very special dog. What endurance. He was like an extreme adventurer himself to endure all he did to follow that team during their race. Just incredible.

I watched this a while back...the same emotions came rushing back now that i rewatched it again. I cried and cried! What a story.! A rare event in someone's life, to cross path with your soulmate. I had mine...Milo, blessed with 14 years together and to this day I remember him everyday. I still love all animals, I love dogs and have 3 at the moment! :)

Just sitting here bawling my eyes out after stumbling upon this randomly!😭😊I remember seeing a meme somewhere a while back about this dog that followed an endurance race team through the jungle cos they gave him meatballs! Had a good laugh cos I honestly thought it was a joke, but my goodness it wasn't! What a good boy Arthur was, one of the goodest boys ever! You cannot tell me dogs are not the best animal on this planet. Just something so special about them! 🐕🥰😁

Saw the movie last night, while it differs a bit from the truth shown here, it is fantastic. A must see if you love this story. I only wish that Arthur had lived to walk the red carpet at the premiere...he died in December, 2020 after living like a king for 6 years with Mikael and family in Sweden.

He llorado y muchas emociones cuando vi la película tan solo unos días junto a mi esposo ,que de paso es doctor en veterinaria,estamos 2024 esto pasó hace años,que belleza humana con Arthur,soy de cuba,es una pena q haya fallecido, nosotros amamos los animales, en casa tenemos perros y son parte de nuestra familia,ojalá poder acá ayudar tantos perritos y gatos callejeros lo q la falta de recursos es casi imposible,bendiciones al equipo sueco tuvieron uno más en su equipo leal y valiente Arthur❤

Kada sam prvi put videla klip filma, htela sam kad dodje u kino da gledam. Isli smo porodično i kako velikima tako i malima se veoma dopao . Stajalo je i da je snimljeno na osnovi istinitog doživljaja, bilo je na kraju filma i kratko pokazano kako stvarno izgledaju. Drago mi je da sam i ovo sad videla ali i u neki komentar pročitala da je preminuo 2020 😥. Kad tako čovek čita ili gleda bilo da je ljudsko ili životinsko biće koji nas oduševe a preminuli , onako pomisliš :" Hoće i Bog takva bića pored sebe." Neka ti je laka zemlja heroju 🐕🙏.

It’s not part of our culture to kill dogs. There are programs in Ecuador to rescue dogs. Also Arthur story was amazing and went viral in Ecuador. Every media covered the story and the government help bring this dog and his found family together

This became a big news hit in Ecuador, run down dog flying to a better home in Sweeden . Arthur pave the way for Ecuadorians to treat dogs as pets not guardians or nuissance .
