Obviously not the best performance but I'm not too worried about USC. Outside Juju and Marshall this is basically an entirely different team from last year. The chemistry just isn't there yet, they pretty much won this game purely off grit and talent alone. It'll take time, but they'll get there - this team and coaching staff are too good to stay flat for long.

Some people are criticizing JuJu for the 9 TO’s which can easily be fixed. Seriously, how do you criticize a player who had 27points, 5 blocks, 4 assists, and 10 rebounds? To me the most disappointing players were Marshall who is a senior and had no points and 6 rebounds after averaging 10 and 10 last year. Also Von Oelhoffen who is also a senior had 2 points and 3 assist. I understand she was in foul trouble but she was 0 for 5 shooting and missed all of her 3 pointers. The freshmen played. So guard play looks to be the main issue not worrying about JuJu TO’s.

You don't need to shoot 3s every time you go down the floor lol. She's a 3 level scorer which is much more effective. Clark can't really score in the mid range and her layup package is subpar. She also doesn't play any defense which is why juju is so much better than her all around. I'll give Clark the passing and 3 point shooting because that's all she takes lol, but when you're talking about all around player like MJ and Kobe, that's who juju is

They looked great. The chemistry isn’t there but look at what you said. 26 turnovers and they still pulled off the win. They have the talent. The coach has to pull it all together. There are games like this that they can win on talent alone but they need that chemistry. They seemed to be getting frustrated at each other a lot. That stems from not being on the same page and there are a few first year players so they just need time to develop and learn how to play as a unit. Preferably around juju. 😂

From what I can tell, the media is trying desperately hard to hand her the Wooden and Naismith awards, just like it wants either Cam Ward or Travis Hunter to win the Heisman.
