Jalen Hurts is very much in the vein of a Donovan McNabb and Steve McNair. Theres so many striking similarities between these players style and stats. Very bulky stout, QBs with good arms but very physical and demanding runners. McNabb had the atrongest arm of the group but the point is the statistical merit. Hurts, like McNabb and McNair, won’t throw for more than 35 to 40 touchdowns but they give you a very good to even great TD to Turnover ratio. They’ll make it to 61 or 62% completion percentage while having a 24/25 TD to 11/12 int ratio. To end a year but Jalen by far surpasses these two gentlemen in the intangibles & work ethic department. That’s where he can elevate

He definitely can be critiqued for sure, he’s definitely not perfect. I think he holds on to the ball too long sometimes & takes too many sacks. It’s just sometimes you listen to the media & it feels like they go the extra mile in their critiques if that makes sense.

Just like Stephen A. yesterday, saying Mahomes hasn’t had to go through what Brady went through, as if he had it so hard, & making it seem like Brady didn’t have any weapons.
