That’s not the only perfect answer he gave. They asked him if he felt like he needed to tell teams to only draft him on merit and he said he doesn’t believe NBA GMs would draft him for any other reason but merit because of how serious the job of a pro GM is. Basically he took the pressure off him and his family once his name is called for him to have to answer any questions similar to that one ever again

@unc54: I get that logic but honestly, just find a way to get in the league & carve your path. The NBA drafts on potential usually, whether it’s the easy way or not just find a way to get in & then you can have the chance to really prove you belong there.

That’s what I’m saying. I mean there’s nba players who average low points but they don’t get all this and won’t get as much when bronny is in the nba. I have all love for bronny but I and many others hate when media does all this for a popular player. When he is in the nba treat him like he’s not the son of the top 2 player of all time and don’t try posting every clip of him scoring a bucket. Just a good amount of coverage. If he does get to a jrue holiday level or better then sure

This is bad for bronny and is bad for a network that supposedly reports the “truth” and “facts” about the sport. People take their information as viable when in reality is just appealing storylines that would make a great reality show, bronny himself maybe would like these people to take him for what he is, a guy that is trying his luck at the NBA combine, no matter who is father is. These people will run this man to the floor just because of his last name, his name will be compared and butchered online just because his less than his father and espn is just helping the trolls out there giving them more fuel with all this publicity, who’s talking about the #1 pick ?
