They asked him if he felt like he needed to tell teams to only draft him on merit and he said he doesn’t believe NBA GMs would draft him for any other reason but merit because of how serious the job of a pro GM is. Basically he took the pressure off him and his family once his name is called for him to have to answer any questions similar to that one ever again

Y’all do realize that a ton of nba players averaged single digits in college and carved out decent roles in the nba right.
