Kansas City just already emptied out their Lucky Bag. I mean the were on the brink of losing one, four to five times this season but somehow had it always bounce their way from dropped passes, untimely questionable penalties to walk off blocked Field Goals. This team didn't play up to their lofty standards and had bad injuries as well. Now they ran into a better team which is playing better recently and all the luck in the world could not save them this time around. They manhandled them with a serious dose of their own medicine which is time of possession, keeping the ball away from their offense and playing sound defense. Props to Buffalo. They really came to play today (with bunches of injuries on their own) and they showed them the door after collecting the well deserved W. Good for Buffalo. Good for the NFL in terms of playoff seeding. Good for the fans who got to watch another instant classic rivalry game between those two AFC powerhouses.

The 2000s Peyton Manning Colts teams lost twice to NE in the playoffs in 2003 & 2004, even though they beat NE in the RS in 05 and 06. They were finally able to beat NE at home in 06 after sole previous struggles.
