@@dadillonful Yes, she has to expand how she scores to pull up midrange shots. She could benefit from floaters at the rim and finishing with her left hand. In terms of ball handling, she has some slick behind the back moves but when crowded is more susceptible to being stripped so a more secure ball handle with crossovers will benefit her. Defensively she tends to wander and that leaves her man open. These sort of things will bring Caitlin to the next level.

I posted this as a reply to someone deep in a thread but while Angel Reese is a really solid and gifted player, other teams don't devote their entire defensive game plan to stopping her. What gets missed by so many analysts and fans is Caitlin is putting up record numbers DESPITE playing against the most stringent defense any WNBA player has faced to date. Other teams guard her end to end all game long. Taurasi, Bird, Miller, etc. never faced that level of defense every game in a season. This takes nothing away from their accomplishments or the great stuff that Angel is doing on the defensive glass - it's only to recognize what we're seeing with Clark is genuinely historic. No different than the impact Tiger, Gretzky and Jordan had on their sports from their first year on. Enjoy the show.

I read something yesterday that seemed pretty much spot on. The opinion was that the Caitlin hate is a way to suppress her because no one in the wnba wants her to lead or break records or have a vast base. No one wants her to sell more tickets or sell out the arenas or be the focus in the league (is it called a league in basketball?). Put it this way: her jerseys sold out immediately and the commission announced they will not put out more. (?) Great way to make $ for those chartered flights, I'd say. Does she have even one protector? Nope, the team really isn't, is it. I'd bet anything that if one of her teammates was being treated like she's being treated, she would be by her side saying - don't fk with us. Because everyone from the very top down has her isolated so they can break her, so she becomes invisible for a few years. You don't try to dummy down CC. Its not possible. Everyone should be fired. They are not only not doing their jobs, they are trying to sabotage her. I want to see them refuse the billions for tv rights to their games. Then fire them from the top of the hierarchy down to the coaches and refs and those who are irrelevant. So there it is

CC is definitely putting up impressive assist totals and the Fever are much better than last year. But before we crown her queen. Aja Wilson is still the best player in the WNBA and she's still young and getting better. Not to mention surrounded by other good players. The New York Liberty and the Connecticut 🌞 who happens to be in the same division as the Fever aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Also there's a lot of young talent on the horizon that will be in the WNBA soon. Paige Bueckers was on the same trajectory as CC but injuries derailed her. Ju Ju Watkins is definitely on the path to greatness if she can avoid a major injury. If should be interesting after the Olympic break!

There is no question the players you mentioned are great players. Here is the thing Clark is in the same discussion as those players.

100% agree and I can't wait to see what Paige brings next year and JuJu later on! Even Kiki Rice (don't sleep on her!) if she can keep herself healthy. Gonna be some great draft classes coming into the Dub. Gonna be awesome to see how they push the vets (to include CC) and in turn, how the vets HOPEFULLY mentor them to make them greater!

That costly mistake at the end was her running up the court and every other player on the team being behind her for some reason. People love to talk Turnovers, but she only had 4 in this game, and 2 were at the end because the rest of the team gave up and she ran into triple coverage twice and the final time just threw the ball up like I guess the team has given up.

Caitlin Clark leads the WNBA is Assists and 3PM - has averaged 16.7 points, 7.6 assists, 5.9 rebounds per game, just attained the coveted Triple Double Double Stat - 19 Points - 13 Assists - 12 Rebounds in a single game defeating NY Liberty - FIRST ROOKIE in the WNBA to ever do that, and is the first WNBA player to have 29 points, 13 assists, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, 5 three-pointers, and 3 Blocks the a game against the Washington Mystics, who nearly single-handedly defeated the Mystics in the 4th quarter Caitlin Clark's deep point scoring arsenal, her range, her ability to make mid-range shots as easily as her 3point drops and drive in lay-ups, most of all her vision to see what's coming next and to take it to the next level is transformative. Caitlin Clark is not just a phenomenal 3 point shooter, she is the greatest passer of all time, as evidenced by watching her play, her assist records she keeps breaking, let alone pointing scoring ability, her defense, Caitlin can do it all. Caitlin Clark is driving the pace, making offensive plays that literally makes her unstoppable. I just can't enough of watching Caitlin Clark ! I am going to have CC withdrawals during this mid-season All-Star, Olympic break Caitlin Clark's impact on the Indiana Fever crawling out of the WNBA rankings gutter, in spite of Coach Sides ineptitude, incompetence is nothing short of phenomenal ! Caitlin Clark has literally revolutionized WNBA Women's Basketball to a new level, rewriting the records book with every game she plays, is without a doubt the WNBA League's ROTY and possible MVP, or runner-up to Aja Wilson Angel Reese is not even in Caitlin Clark's league - Angel Reese couldn't handle one game as Caitlin Clark what Caitlin Clark has to deal with in every game - TRUTH !
