This game was vastly more entertaining than the NBA all-star game has been for the past several years because the players actually played basketball. While the NBA players have recently resorted to a non-contact 400-point scrimmage because everyone's too scared of getting hurt, the women actually competed. Hopefully the NBA's taking notes.

With many being the franchise player or 9 figure players they aren't trying to lose their privileged position and let their team down. Don't forget the guys play 82 games with less time to rest in between the next game than the W. This All Star break is a month long. The NBA all Star break was significantly less.

Yes, it's mostly media. They have different styles & appeal to different fan bases,.. but their games compliment each other. The WNBA could just as easily promote them as two separate forces that are required to clash periodically (league games, playoffs, etc.),... instead of making it personal. Time will tell though. It doesn't help that Reese cheers when Cheapshot Chennedy fouls Caitlin from behind on dead ball situations though. Reese's words & behavior (going forward) will decide if there is hate there or mutual respect...

Clark underperformed in shooting, but adjusted & set a rookie All Star assist record instead... (& was one shy of tying the all time assist record (11)),... And Arike!!! The fact that the WUSA clique keeps her out demonstrates that THEY are the problem, NOT HER!!! WUSA needs an overhaul. The crusty committee, dino players, & the crass coach have all GOT TO GO!! Angel set a record as the first rookie to get a double double. Someone tried to say Yolonda Griffith did it in 1999. I just googled the 1999 WNBA all star game and NO ONE had a double double. Neither Lisa Leslie nor Yolonda Griffith had one. I’m not sure who started that lie but I have a feeling I know why they tried to discredit Angel’s record. 🙄

CC and AR need a goal to strive for or they will get pissed off and go place elsewhere or maybe Russia will offer CC or AR an 8MM contract that they can't turn down. Then where would te WNBA be?
