This game was vastly more entertaining than the NBA all-star game has been for the past several years because the players actually played basketball. While the NBA players have recently resorted to a non-contact 400-point scrimmage because everyone's too scared of getting hurt, the women actually competed. Hopefully the NBA's taking notes.

Cheryl Miller basically telling Team USA to bring it BEFORE THE GAME STARTED because her team wanted to blow the other team out... @theblackmamba323 Nope... listen to her interview from a few weeks ago. And, actually, the interviewer kinda alluded to it just now. Arike said she withdrew her name because the selection committee was playing politics with her. She attended the tryout but felt like the decision was already made before she started. So, to save face, she withdrew her name. But, she said that she absolutely wanted to play for the team... which, is why she went off on them last night.

Now this is what the WNBA needs, young talent that really wants to win. And it is infectious too for other players. As a 4th year player, Agunbowale really took her chance to show how much she deserves to be on that team as well. I really can't say how much the young guard like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese will help to put this sport on the map.
