Classy indeed. I'm a Texas Tech alum and I can tell you that at Tech he was the same way. He was always so humble and respectful and was also very involved in the Lubbock community with various charities, visiting local schools and hospitals, etc. Patrick is a great athlete but more importantly, he's a great person. :)

He never threw teammates under the bus, even though all of us knew that his supporting cast was not very good. He would always keep a positive vibe and attitude. His parents raised him very well.

Mahomes is the best player, let alone quarterback, that the chiefs ever drafted. Lenny Dawson was drafted by the Steelers in the NFL. They gave him to us in the AFL, because they thought he was a bust. Hank Stram revived his career. We’ve *NEVER* drafted a player of Patrick’s caliber. You could literally go down the list of your favorite chiefs players and you’ll see that Patrick is the best
