Well you gotta understand ESPN pays each SEC team $50 million per year. Colorado is a ratings goldmine. And while the Big 12 has a contract with ESPN as well, they also have a deal with Fox. So it’s clearly a conflict of interest. ESPN will always be biased towards the SEC because they pay them the most money. If Colorado continues to rise, eventually they will be competing with Fox for airtime.

He has built a solid foundation in Boulder, community and university all the players, that he’s recruited, and has in place with the ones that are coming back. He has an opportunity to build his own dynasty in Boulder. They pretty much gave him the keys, to do whatever he wanted to do with the program. Don’t know that you’ll get that anywhere else.
