Roman's growth as a wrestler and a performer is beyond imagination. If he has this legendary character for 3 more years at this same level, then he definitely will be at the mt. Rushmore. of wrestling. Dude's destined for greatness. MJF is great he just lives as the character. But Roman on the other hand has perfectly blended the art of balance by being both Joe Anoa'i and the tribal chief. MJF and Roman Reigns are the two best things in the wrestling world at the moment.

When it comes to Roman the biggest takeaway for me was about a year or so ago when Brock Lesnar said Roman has the "it" factor and that tells you all you need to know as Brock is the LAST person to hand out compliments. He won't say anything that he doesn't mean. This interview is part kayfabe, but Roman truly believes in himself with unbelievable confidence and much like Brock, he doesn't care if he hurts anybodys feelings. I don't know what's gonna happen tonight, and respect and kudos to Cody, but I can certainly see Roman retaining

From a long term storyline perspective it would be better if Roman retained and then the bloodline turmoil can continue. Roman can say the Uso’s dropped the ball and let the family down. Based on their history, I think Seth Rollins would be the best choice to dethrone Roman Reigns. He betrayed The Shield, cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at the Wrestlemania main event, and always outsmarted Reigns in their mind games. Cody has the potential to become a future champion, but from a storyline perspective, it would make more sense for Seth to take down Reigns.
