Part of that is when your playing that many games having that many collisions to practice day in and day out week after week after week . And the second the seasons over you start preparing for the next season and longer the season is the less tome you have between seasons to rest recover prepare and get into football shape for the next season

It’s not a two team race, no. The Eagles are looking good, yes, and if they beat both Pittsburgh and Baltimore, then I would be comfortable picking them for an NFC championship appearance. Likely against Detroit. The competition appears to be for first seed, but if things continue this way, we could get a great NFC showdown. I wouldn’t discount Minnesota, though. I just don’t see Darnold putting together enough wins to unseat Detroit. But they are capable imo. 49ers, on the other hand, are not top tier. Their defense regressed and special teams are a serious issue. Arizona wins the west, and 49ers miss playoffs.
