I love Sam's comeback season and how well our defense has played generally (NFC North, black and blue division), but Stephen A. and Shannon alluded to what's been the most important element of this team, and that's KOC and his coaching staff. From creating a culture that players want to be a part of to seeing talent and potential in players others have written off (and then capitalizing on it), the Vikings coaching staff deserve all the props. I hope he's around for a long time.

Sam Darnold won’t agree, he is a vet QB who went to the playoffs and there are too many QB starving teams, and he is a free agent, and they all know they have JJ Mcarthy there a top 10 pick, there will have to be a QB competition in training camp, or he can go somewhere else earn more money and be a bonafide starter, he is the best QB free agent available this off season and this QB draft class is mediocre at best, most aren’t starting calibre, but I can name 5-6 teams straight away that absolutely need QBs.

Daniel Jones is the indicator of what will happen. SD will sign somewhere and make the bag. McCarthy will start with Jones as a high quality backup. Vikes will build an elite roster with an accurate, athletic QB on rookie contract.

The Vikings deserve to have a young qb that they develop and have him for 15 to 20 years. The vikings are 9th all time in winning percentage and we always do it by elevating veteran qb's. No matter how Sam plays I would franchise tag him so him and JJ can compete next season for the job. If JJ wins trade Sam and if not let Sam play and franchise him again. That gives JJ time to become better than Sam without the Vikings committing long term to soon

Slay, Gardner-Johnson, & Blankenship were part of the Eagles secondary that was no. 1 against the pass just two years ago. The addition of Mitchell and DeJean just adds more depth and playmaking ability..

As a day 1 and a real deal, 0:17 Minnesota Vikings fan!!! I can tell you this as long as we play our game and we don’t turn over the ball. We can literally beat anyone in the NFL!!! you have to remember that we went 13 and 42 years ago and if it wasn’t for all of the injuries that we had last year, we would’ve made it to the playoffs last year as well!!! The difference between us and two years ago, we did not have a good defense and we were predicated on passing all of the time this year we have more of a balance team and our defense is a legit top 5 defense!!! we can beat the Lions and we can beat the Eagles however, I am a realist we do not want to play Philly in Philly!!! It's probably better to take a chance on a guy who was a former high pick that went to a bad team and then had a chance to take a couple back up gigs and learn the game then to overpay a mid starter like dak. I think the NFL will eventually go in that direction. Guys like Rich Gannon have won mvp in the right system after being journeymen
