I personally think it was more about the medical incident from June than pure age. I think it makes sense that his training footage from prior to the first fight date looked pretty good, his fight with RJJ his legs weren’t nearly as bad even tho he was in worse shape. They didn’t disclose what happened in the incident or the severity and there wasn’t really good footage post that incident.
