The fact that UGA put in their backup qb, running back, and receivers at the start of the 4th tells you just how focused they are winning. Instead of mailing it in and running down the clock they take advantage of the snaps to get upcoming talent game speed reps to be ready for next year.

Brandon, like 20 schools would be as confident as you are about Georgia if any school has Georgia’s 2023 schedule. They have one ranked school on their schedule based on the 2022 final AP poll. So basically, Tennessee is the only decent opponent scheduled. ONE TEAM. That’s so embarrassing that any SEC would schedule like that. At least get a couple decent non-conference teams. It sucks even worse for season ticket holders. I can’t imagine paying 4-figures for 2 Georgia season tickets and not having one quality or ranked opponent at home. That is sad.

First and foremost you have to give BIG congratulations to Georgia. What an amazing team! They have been the kings of CFB the last 2 years. As a Buckeye fan I was proud of my team for playing so well against UGA. I knew Ohio State could play better than they did against Michigan and playing that game in Atlanta - in Georgia's backyard - was impressive. It would be easy to say OSU-UGA was the default National Championship game, but it was not. I am proud we played such a great team so well, but in the end Georgia proved to be resilient and came back to win. TCU earned their way to the Championship game. Unfortunately they ran into a team that when they play their best game (UGA) they are simply light years better. Too many NFL-caliber athletes. But despite the bad loss I was impressed with TCU all season. To go from 5-7 in 2021 to 13-2 in 2022 (including the playoffs) is really a Cinderella story. Nobody was going to beat UGA in that championship game. So it was a tough game to stomach but congrats to the TCU team, coaches, and fans. One heck of a season. And BIG congrats to UGA. They will certainly be favorites for the 2023 CFB season. Should be a fun season as there will be plenty of competition. Alabama will be back, as they always are. Ohio State will be tough again and so will Michigan. I think Penn State with that running back could be tough. LSU seems to be on their way up. South Carolina should be tough. Clemson is not going away. Oklahoma should be improved, and I have no clue where Texas A&M will be.

A 1st time ever coach, 8 yrs in has set the SEC undefeated record. TOTAL BS! The game is sham right now. A big reason for that record is he has played 3 yrs of very bad AUB and FL teams together. On GA's schedule historically, who has been most likely to beat them. He has had 6 walkovers. Imagine how that changes ranking. The game is farce and I'm out after this year. Last game to watch. AL/TN. I'm glad he is doing what he is doing. SEC fans will never be able the argue the SEC was not sham when both were coaching.

@rxdawg75 Neb95 beat 8 horrible teams. * 5 with 8 losses, 3 with 5 losses or * 96 wins, 55 losses. 43% winning % Vandy's lifetime record is better than that, meaning their avg per year was better too. @brownsweetie Yes, the young man has shown determination and grit. Unfortunately, this will be the high water mark of his football career. He is not a physical specimen that the NFL looks for, and it took him so long to reach a high level of proficiency. But with his mental fortitude, he will be successful in life. I admire that.

People may hate Kirby smart for his unwavering stance that Sandy hook shooting was a hoax and the town was all droids and no humans. But you have to respect him for never backing down on that and not apologizing for his belief. I strongly disagree with him on his public stance on the massacre but you can’t deny he’s built a fantastic football program.

The TCU Horned Frogs had to play flawless from the start to even have an inkling of a chance to make this a competition. They did not, and the rout was on. Georgia was like sharks smelling blood in the water...and attacking their prey with reckless abandon.

this game reminded me alot of the USC vs Oklahoma National title game where it was just a complete domination of one team over the other. Edit: So i see alot of people in the comment section feel TCU shouldnt have been in thr Title game and to that id like to add my cents if i may and this is comming from a USC FAN Perhap Its not that TCU didnt belong, they certainly earned their spot in that game. Maybe...just maybe Georgia is that dam good. Back to back national titles and next year they will have a chance to do something that no team in the BCS other than that great USC team that was denied by Vince young in 04 has even had the chance to do and thats to win 3 straight national titles. Maybe Georgia belongs in the conversation with the greatest team ever... maybe they a jusr that goid
@RobbieStacks90 Жыл бұрын
This was worse than Nebraska-Florida, USC-Oklahoma, Miami-Nebraska, Alabama-Notre Dame, etc. because most of us knew that TCU had no business being in the playoff, let alone the national championship game. ESPN had to create fake hype like always. They're not going to tell it like it really is because it'd be considered "disrespectful" to the underdog team, even if it's honest analysis.

The Committee set this up. They made sure that BAMA wouldn't get in and put one SEC team in the playoffs and he SEC still won.😆 The person that's probably feeling bad is the Ohio State kicker that missed the winning field goal. Tulane would have played a better game than TCU.
