I am an Arkansas fan here, but I take interest in all the SEC teams. And in my opinion, there is zero excuse for Texas AM not to be up there with Alabama and Georgia, stacked with five star players. This is Jimbo's 4th year. He is getting an incredible 9 million a year (that is Saban like pay) to have subpar team after four years. I mean, Kirby Smart has only been at Georgia one year longer than Jimbo at Texas AM, and look at where Georgia is? I just think Jimbo is not living up to the hype or the pay.

Part of the blame is there are 8 starters injured. It’s hard to establish protection for pass and gaps for the run with 3 freshmen on the O-line. Starting linebacker, safety, corner and QB all out.

Everyone and their brother knows Calzada is going to pass short so everything's bottlenecked near the line of scrimmage. Did A&M even attempt to pass down the field? Meanwhile, A&M's stupid coaches rush only 3 defenders against Rogers the entire game and he has all day to find the open receiver. I am very happy with how State has played so far this year. We’ve gotten two bad losses (technically should be 4-1 from Memphis, but I digress), but I’m happy to see we keep improving every week. We fixed issues I saw last week and seems we grow stronger after those fixes were implemented. So much better than last year, can’t wait to see what the future holds.
