As much as I saw Australia Team I think their Fearless Attitude is their biggest strength for e.g. in match against Afghanistan when team down 91-7 Maxwell playing fearlessly without any pressure or fear of losing. I think if any other team was on this position they just thought about surviving, winning is out of the equation but Australia play fearlessly and won, this fearless approach in any situation makes them deadliest.

"There's a not a lot of ego, tends to be performance driven". I think Haydos summarised one of the most underrated reasons as to why Australia cricket has been a juggernaut. Interestingly, I'm seeing this in Indian team too where each player's role is visible and one player is not bigger than the other. Role = clarity = accountability = more chances of things clicking.

I noticed that there no sense of fear or sense of occasion among the Australian players. I have observed this in the way Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head play. They hold onto their attacking game irrespective of the opposition and the match they are playing. Like in the semifinal, Head played an attacking knock despite wickets falling and that proved to be the difference. Earlier in this World Cup, Australia lost a couple of quick wickets against Sri Lanka but Marsh kept hitting the ball hard.

There's no reason for any Australian player to feel 'fear'. They don't fear any team. India don't scare them, they know man for man that they're at least an equal team. In fact, I can't name more than 3 Indians who would get selected in the Australian team. The Indian media has been over inflating India's abilities so much that a fallacy has become fact in Indian minds. They're a good team, nothing more.

he’s def right that Australia have a very active sporting culture. they are good at the almost everything, except ⚽️ (women are the exception). It's simple... It's their Championship DNA! They don't carry shit with them...Steve Smith, areguably one of the GOATS of this generation...he didn't perform in the first 3 matches, he got benched...Meanwhile India, they'll keep carrying a player for 10-15 innings... I'm not saying stop backing players but there's a way to back them up. Australia chooses their players, they prioritize national cricket over IPL and T20 leagues, they don't play for money...that's why they're so strong at their baseline that no one can touch them when it comes to technical pressure They handpick their players, they know how to play big games...they're habitual to pressure...Australians were killers in the field that day, all 11 of them were match-winners... every single one of them! And look at your team, look at your player's records in knockout matches, who has that killer instinct except 2-3 of them! That's what we call Championship DNA!! It's just that... India is a team of champions and Australia is a champion team!

My point was a lot of great Bowlers of the past got away not having to bowl in modern batting dominanted era where bats are bigger, boundaries are smaller & batsman goes hard at you far more than they used to before. Most of the great bowlers of the past would have been smacked just as top modern Bowlers today are being treated. Most top fast bowlers of today would look twice as good if they were bowling in past era with a lot of rules favouring bowlers. Rabada would look as good as Holding if he gets to bowl to batters without helmet or protection like Holding had the luxury to bowl in 80s.

If history was everything before the big game, why could not West Indies win again on 1983 world cup final date as they had won 2 in a row before that?? Why did Australia lost to India in 2011 quarterfinals after being the best team of World cups for more than one decade? How come Sri Lanka was able to win 2014 T20 WC final against India when the same opponent had thrashed them 3 years earlier in another world cup final... These are just 3 examples to establish the only true fact that "History is only good to gain information, take lessons or inspiration, but it is not going to decide what happens on the all important day"... Aussies look forward to difficulty. The tougher it gets the more they enjoy it. To them...they learn and achieve absolutely nothing by murdering a middle or lower ranked team. There is no glory in that. They also do not idolise sports people. They celebrate a win, but dont treat them as heroes...because they are nothing more than playing a sport. The gulf in quality is outrageous... spirit and will is one thing.. sheer quality another.. India has always played with great spirit.. but never before in over 20 years have I seen an Indian team okay with this much ability.. they are winning games with ease even after 2 or 3 mistakes.. because that's how good they are... technically India still hasn't had a perfect game... India are only a great team based on statistics, not based on cups and tournament wins. Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli are statistically the greatest batsmen in one day cricket, but they only have one world cup because India crumbles in knock out cricket. Despite being inferior batsmen Ricky Ponting has 3 cups, Michael Clarke has 2 cups and Steve Waugh has 2 cups because the Aussies don't crumble as often in Knock out tournaments.

Why India has made cricket it's religion by disregarding it's own sportsperson of other games who have achieved at tough sports at world level. India , Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh etc are zero in the games which requires speed, stamina, and fitness. Cricket mad India cannot be a sporting nation.Cricket is a game of convenience for these countries. Cricket requires skill and a limited amount of fitness is enough to make you world champ. Even fitness standard of the level with pot belly can also become world champs scoring tons. Running between the wickets in your own timing. In batting ball comes to you. If you cannot bowl fast like Brett Lee, become a spinner .Whereas in soccer, basketball, track and field, hockey, Tennis etc you not only need skills, but also enormous amount of speed, stamina, and fitness. OPPONENT STRETCHES YOU IN ALL THESE PARAMETERS. To beat Maradona you have to beat him in his speed, stamina and fitness . So is with Bolt, Micheal Jordon, Micheal Phleps, Nadal, Federer etc. It's neck to neck fight in all these parameters. If infrastructure and money are seen for any games popularity, than why people from India , Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh etc settled in England, US and Europe don't play soccer, basketball, track and field tennis, rugby and other games, which are popular there. There also people from India, Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh etc settled from generation play cricket only. Cannot find champs in games like soccer, basketball, track and field etc try to search champs in a lazy game cricket. You talk of Micheal Jordon, Indian will bring cricketer. You talk of Maradona and Pele Indian will bring cricketer. You talk of Micheal Phleps. Indian will bring cricketer. You talk of Federer and Nadal,Indian will bring cricketer.Even the cricket playing population in India is more than the population of England, Australia, Newzealand, South Africa combined. For these countries cricket is just a game. They are world class in soccer, basketball, track and field, basketball, hockey, volleyball, rugby etc. Rather Australia should focus more on soccer and try to win FIFA WORLD CUP which they haven't won so far, and they can. Even British Pride in Soccer not cricket. Cricket a lazy game leave to those who cannot play games of speed, stamina, and fitness.
