As a Madridista, they have 2 issues - the manager and the squad. Flickball aint easy for players even at their peak and most of these Barca players are literally kids. Henderson and Fabinho were basically ousted out of the club, and Liverpool fans still mock them for their performance after their decline. Their career was basically over after that. Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamerlain were burnt out, and Keita and Thiago just couldn't keep up. I know that Klopp couldn't have rotated the squad frequently and risk losing games and thus losing his job, all the while sticking to his philosophy. But I believe that there are games where you sit back at, like, 70%, and still win comfortably. Especially with the quality Liverpool had. In the case of Barcelona, ¾th of the games they play in the season, they can win comfortably.

The issue with Barça is depth and not finishing chances. Hard to play a high line and press without depth. Barça have created the most chances in La Liga but also missed the most chances. Regarding depth, if someone from the starting XI goes out, they have no replacement and are dependent on them. When Lamine Yamal is healthy, they haven’t lost, but he’s still a kid. The backline has been practically the same all season. No competition for this squad hurts and the new year will be more difficult with more domestic competitions on the calendar.

Ok, as a barca fan we got to bring araujo back in, he was crucial even if he made mistakes. Take out Martinez and Balde, Balde relies mostly on pace but isn’t so good defensively and only makes crosses. Most of the defense is relying on the high line which won’t save us forever, teams will use their midfield to beat it so we gotta play more defensively. Also buy a new left winger, Raphinha is playing good but he’s missing so many clinical chances and he won’t be this good forever, only a matter of time before he returns to his 2022 form. Replace Lewandowski, he’s old and missing so many chances and getting washed

Its the youngest squad in La Liga and one of the top 5 youngest in the CL. Inexperienced but they have also had a fair share of injuries to be fair and its Flicks first few months.
