This was what made Conor so good, the movement, angles and timing... It wasn't just "power", he set them up and hit them with shots they never seen coming, the punches you don't see coming hurt you the most... Ever since he ditched this karate style/light on his feet stance and reverted to a more flat footed boxing based style, relying on his power, he went downhill.

Man what a joy Conor was to watch. I think people have forgotten about it wasn’t just his mouth that got him to the top. I hope we get to see Conor more fluid and confident in the octagon one more time. Jon Jones and Conor are huge reason I haven’t missed a UFC event in 4 years and counting now. They made me huge fans of the sport. I used to only watch for them. But now I watch it all. lbvs. Going to be sad when they officially leave the sport. Legends ❤️ and obvious as always, ignore the hate 💯

I swear the high repetition of strikes and fluid movement was really something to admire.. it was truly some art form how early Connor can be so in control of a fight that he looks sleepy😂.. his stamina was always an issue dont get me wrong, but he Definitely made use of that stam.

BOY, you can't F with Vintage Connor. He may have lost some of his shimmer, but the man was a force of nature when he entered the UFC. So Crisp and Accurate and Hard. Fun to watch that skill level.

Conor didn’t get worse, as he got up the UFC ladder he met fighters of a higher caliber than the ones he used to beat up in the lower ranks.

In the 4th exchange at 4:52 on the clock, that power straight left from southpaw is what Dustin Porier caught Conor with in the 3rd fight. I guess that opening has always been there but Conors chin and will to win back then just over came it.
