A rematch is not offered when: A) Dana does not like the fighter who just lost. B) A rematch will not be a big PPV/TV draw. Rematches are often not given when they are well deserved. You can always tell when Dana is happy or unhappy with the outcome of a fight. Rewatch the Nunes vs. Cyborg fight, and watch how GaGa Dana was when Nunes approached him after scaling the octagon (after beating Cris). If he doesn't like you, you're out of luck. He was clearly happy that Cyborg no longer had the belt. Cris is not a big PPV draw, and Dana feels much stronger with Nunes' ability to draw viewers.
