It is easy. Anyone who says its hard isn't smart.
@brandonsmith9512
@brandonsmith9512 20 күн бұрын
It looks incredibly easy. It's almost like it's the exact same vocab as it has been their whole life. The A Gap is the same as it is in college as it is in the NFL as it was in high school. Trips still means 3 wr set on one side. And so when you hear a play call with trips in it, you already know who you are and where to line up. You don't just memorize the pictures, you learn the vocab and what the play call means, your part in it all, and if you can other people's parts well so you understand the play in its entirety instead of just your role in the machine. And then you practice it several days a week for months before the actual season even starts. It's like memorizing biology vocab if you know basic Greek and Latin word origins. It makes it way easier to infer the definition of the word if you understand how the word was named. The same applies to play calls. If you understand the vocab then the play call becomes almost self explanatory. The hard part is learning additions/changes for a specific matchup on short notice. Studying film on defense or as a QB. And getting the cadence and rhythm of your teammates down, developing that coordination and connection with your QB and teammates. Memorizing the vocab and understanding how the play calls work and learning the playbook is not hard.
