Raider Nation got the steal of the 1st round baby! I am so happy living in Las Vegas to get to see what Brock Bowers can do he is an absolute beast. Now AOC or Minshew will have two good TE's plus Adams. Bowers is 6'3 240 lb and can run a 4.5 plus has a 40" vertical. He is a more athletic Gronk. Meyers could be the blocking TE and Bowers can be a pass catching TE and develop-tack on 20 lbs of muscle and also block because he can do that as well. The Raiders are solidifying the O line. The QB's best friend is a TE and he is on Mel Keiper's top 10 boar at #7. That is the positive of teams reaching for quarterbacks. Bo Nix was in the 30's in Keiper's big Board so we got a steal. I am happy the Raiders did not trade the farm for a QB.

One argument against him on the chargers is that a great TE gets 900 yds and 10 TDs in a season. A great WR gets 1000+ yds and 13+ TDs. It's more overall production. And the Chargers could use more production at WR

Kiper’s record of guessing where players go after like Number 1 and maybe 2 is pretty abysmal. His is not to strategize about what each team needs specifically at their pick in the draft, but which players are great in a coaching and scheme vacuum.
