Both LJ and DH benefit from the presence of the other but let’s set this straight, BAL has led the NFL in rushing 4x and been top 3 every year since LJ has been QB, this is BEFORE DH got there. This team begins and ends with LJ. SAS and SS bringing up DH on pace for 1800 but if the OC called the games right he’d be on pace for 2000+ and it’s BECAUSE of LJ. When defenses look back and see LJ and DH, they don’t know who to prep for on zone/read options and are therefore hesitant at points of attack because they aren’t sure who’s getting the ball. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if BAL wants the superbowl they’ll prioritize keeping LJ a threat in the DESIGNED running attack as it will create big play opportunities in the both the run and pass game and will keep TOP in their favor.
