As a Washington fan, let’s be logical here. Lions are WAY more stacked and have better players in almost every spot on the field. We have a stud rookie and Terry. Our Oline is in shambles and puts a lot on Daniels to make plays. He can do so but it’s really hard. This would be one of the biggest upsets in the last 5-10 years if we pulled it off. Just play hard and leave it on the field, that’s all we can ask for a roster that had a 60% turnover rate and projected to win 5-7 games this year.

Goff is the # 4 rated QB this year and has thrown for 4,629 yards (only Joe Burrow has more), 72.4 %. Daniels is the # 14 ranked QB with 3, 568 (including a playoff game), 69.0 %. Stats aren't everything, but they're not nothing either. The only metric where Daniels surpasses Goff is his running ability. But his legs won't be enough alone to beat Detroit. He'll be forced to throw more than he wants to. So, ya, I'd take Goff, especially with his experience (and he's as cool as a cucumber too). And, yes, I am biased. Please, would these commentators stop making this young man into an idol. I almost feel like I'm in church. It's ridiculous at this point. It's one good season. When you guys played the Texans earlier in the year and he threw 5 picks, it showed how even if he has an awful game, his team and coaching are built to negate it as much as possible. The sole reason Washington is here is Jayden, he's basically out whole Offense. He's the reason every single Washington player plays till the clock hits zero, because they know it doesn't matter how much they might be down by, if JD5 has enough time and gets the ball in his hands, they got a chance.
