@@thebillryanI think your missing the point, last season we struggled against teams like Barnsley and if Man United had lost that game or win by 1-0 trust me they would have comment on how bad the team is. You can only play the team that is in front of you no Man United fan is saying they’re back but as they did what they should be doing with teams like Barnsley. Last season Man United were conceding loads of shots to these teams and wasn’t creating chances for their strikers so far this season they have be creating more chances in games for the strikers but they just not taking them so those two things are a slight improvement.

Wow. They've conceded from one goal from a set-piece this season. The team does seem to be reasonably short in stature, but that is in keeping with a fast, fit team that is supposed to be pressing and out-running their opposition from start to finish. Changing Romero out for Dragusin could help. Will eliminate the sleep apnoea at the back too.

I like your observation…Dragusin will make a difference (player selection) but in the front third I feel they lack a clinical striker…Scarlett and Veliz would’ve excelled in and around the box but they didn’t endear themselves as out fielders…

People seem to think that Ange isn't adaptable but he adapts in every game. Just not in the way that you think. Most people see him as stubborn because his style of play doesn't change but his whole philosophy is constantly evolving. The core concepts of Ange Ball such as the relentless pressing, the high Line, inverted full backs, quick attacking play all remains the same but Ange will change other areas to adapt in game. Formations may change, or players roles within the formation will change during a game. Personnel may change as well to fit the opposition. Substitutes will be used as a tactical move eg Hojbjerg last season. Anyone who has watched Spurs under Ange can see these things happening. This narrative that he doesn't adapt is simply not true
