Havertz very quietly up to 8 goals and 1 assist despite all the criticism he constantly faces. With Odegaard back in the line up, I full expect Havertz’s goal and assist numbers to increase even more. Havertz and Odegaard have a tremendous connection that pundits like Craig and Stevie either blatantly ignore or just don’t watch Arsenal closely enough to even register.

@@M-kulafirst of all those strikers are very hard to find and when u find them they might not perform. Look how Gyokeres was marked today so those strikers can help us but they are not the answers to every problem or every hole we have. My problem w ppl like you is you act like a world class striker (who are hard to find) is the only thing hpthqt wins us the league. City going 17-1 for the last 18 games last year is not solved by just a striker. My other point is, fixing other holes such as left back, left 8 and left winger can also get us the 2 or more points we were missing to win the League. And if we buy gyokeres or haaland they will not score every game. Look at haaland he barely scores these days. Defense that you can rely on is just as important as a world class striker.

Problem is, they should have scored at least 3-4 with the amount of chances they had. Sporting's Xg in second half was 2.1. Two penalties are basically 1.6XG. So, apart from penalties they had a whopping 0.5Xg entire second half but they could have somehow scored 5 goals according to you. The 4-1 result only sounds like "Mince" if you didn't watch the game. It's extremely flattering to Sporting as they weren't that good at all. Arsenal could have scored 7 last night easily.
