First of all... Indian Gaming Fanbase is *mainly* comprised of 13 - 20 year olds who only have their personal mobile phones... While in the west Most of the Esports fanbase have their own mobile phones as well a decent gaming PC... That is the main reason why their Esports community is growing well rounded while IGC has grown only in just BGMI.... In India having a gaming PC is probably the last thing a teen could have as here it is a luxury of sorts while in the west it is a mere facility....

"Mobile gamers are not real gamers". Change my mind. I am a Csgo player from long time,the community was og back then. But the whole scene was changed when Forsaken at that time hacked in the main LAN event with the infamous word.exe haha. There is no esports community in India. Now I have grinded to Immortal in Valorant and still I insist that despite all the talent that we Indians have,we are hindered by the lack of investors.

It was sad to see that the greatest/highest skill required esports title Dota 2 saw such a decline in India. After 2018 everything went downhill when ESL stopped their tournaments.. But some of my friends are still grinding hard till this day to do something, for this masterpiece of a game with a dead esports scenario. I myself quit hardcore grind in 2020...I had peaked at 5.9k....that was 3 years ago...now I just play for fun..
