Sweet ! How would this look if you made a cappucino, and then later another espresso? Do you turn off the steamer and raise the lever to let it reduce in temperature? What happens if you don't raise the lever, and let the machine cooldown?

You’d turn off the steamer and purge steam from the steam wand. I wouldn’t purge steam through the grouphead, not that it would damage it likely. Water refilling the boiler brings down the temp to brew ready pretty quickly.

how do you like the machine so far? I just ordered one too. Can you please tell me if the rails are removable from the cup tray? Are there screws on the underside? I'm worried it won't fit under my cabinets. Also, how easy is it to slide the machine out to fill the tank?

The machine has been good. I can nit pick but for the price I’d say it’s a fine machine. I don’t know if rails are removable, if removed, refilling the water would be a pain. They fit fine under my cabinets. Machine is heavy and not easily moved. I recommend adding felt or plastic sliders on feet if planning to move it. Enjoy!
