Esquila girando - Santa María de Guadalupe - Repique de Campanas - Salve

La esquila mayor de la Parroquia de San Francisco de Asís en Tepatitlán, Santa María de Guadalupe Fundida en el año de 1864 por Rivera, en el año de 1992 fue refundida por que se habia quebrado pero no duró por mucho tiempo y que para el 94 o 95 se volvió a cuartear en la actualidad se le tiene un badajo pequeño pero la grieta sigue creciendo, el peso no se los se dar con exactitud pero creo anda por la tonelada

We had a cracked bell at church and I ground out the crack all way through and beyond the visible crack and it now rings much better. At first it sounded worse than this one before I fixed it.

I am happy its recast but the way your bells are rung makes the clappers hit too hard and its very expensive. Ringing them in full circle like that, adds the chance of cracking again. Swing them back and forth and they have a more graceful sound in their motion. Springs should also be added inside the bell for protection and keeping the bells from studdering. Just my thoughts
