I just bought and returned this charger while it was on sale during Amazon's Prime Day. The issue I had was when charging it made a very audible electrical buzzing/clicking sound. Now I know this can happen with *all* wireless chargers as I have similar on a cheap IKEA lamp with built in wireless charger but I don't have it on my Belkin or Anker chargers. As this was on my desk in a rather quiet environment I found the noise annoying in the same way I find coil whine annoying so sadly back it went. It was a real shame as it is otherwise the most practical 3-in-1 wireless charger imho as that detachable watch charger is superb! I ended up getting the Belkin BoostCharge 3-in-1 Qi2 model (the newest model with the fixed cable and adjustable phone charging pad in the same colour as the base) and it is great but sadly no detachable watch charger.

I haven’t noticed that with mine but that’s a shame because this is a great value but the belkin one is also excellent too me. I still have the original belkin when MagSafe was new on the iPhone 12 lineup

@@bucklifetech Funny you should reply to this comment as I didn't end up keeping the Belkin one either! I instead got the Anker Qi2 3-in-1 (that looks a lot like the Belkin one). Why? Because when the Belkin BoostCharge arrived it was indeed the 2024 model but weirdly in Europe it seems the model we have is like a hybrid of the new and old US model! It still uses the detachable barrel plug and and the iPhone charging pad is fixed position not adjustable. However it is indeed Qi2 so it is a new model. I contacted Belkin to find out what on earth is going on and apparently the new model with the fixed power cable and adjustable phone charge pad is US only. In Europe (and perhaps elsewhere) we basically have the same overall design as the first edition model just with upgraded charging pads for Qi2. How bizarre! Anyway the Anker is great too and was actually €40 cheaper than the Belkin thanks to Prime Day sale so I am very happy in the end 😁

I have ESR's Qi2 car charger. The top right hand corner of the unit gets really hot. I've measured upwards of 52C. It really needs a heatsink of some sort or a fan otherwise it heavily throttles going from 15W down to 5W. Have you noticed the same with the 3 in 1? I also have Anker's Qi2 Pad. It throttles much less and the temperature stays below 42C. The body appears to be a solid metal heatsink.

I just had a phone, watch and AirPods on the charger and while it does get slightly warm, it’s not hot at all. I think the heat dissipates pretty well for this charger.
