Who's Bozeman? And who's this Anderson? I thought Anderson was Bozeman. Does he work for Bozeman? In any event, a million thanks to Bozeman for offering this incredible resource that I now call Bozemsn's Anderson. What a gift and I truly thank you. And to Anderson, well Sir, you're simply the very best.

I get that these diagrams showing the percentage of water on Earth in which reservoirs typically show 97% in the oceans and represent that with saline, and then represent the other 3% as freshwater, but that is not accurate. Much of that 3 % that is left over is ground water of which nearly half is saline. Of our lakes, even though this makes up a small fraction of the water left of the 3 percent, not all of those lakes are fresh water either. See where the water is located on Earth looking at this data from USGS www.usgs.gov/special-topic/water-science-school/science/how-much-water-there-earth?qt-science_center_objects=0#qt-science_center_objects. Mathematically you can easily see 3% of the water on Earth is NOT fresh. Also, when you say that water gets larger when it freezes that it is unique in the world, that is untrue. It is pretty unusual, but water is not the only substance to expand when it freezes.
